Services & What’s Included
Q: What services do you offer?
A: Professional face painting, glitter tattoos, body/face gems, festival horns, and a full glitter bar. I’m Central Arkansas’s only full-service, all-inclusive artist—meaning I bring everything (photo-ready setup, supplies, signage, sanitizer, mirrors, lighting) with no surprise upsells.
Q: What does “all-inclusive” mean?
A: One package covers designs, setup, cleanup, and premium materials. You’ll get a seamless experience without add-on pressure or hidden fees. Your quote is what you get.
Q: Do you do private parties and large events?
A: Yes—birthdays, schools, corporate events, festivals, showers, church and community events, and more. I scale staffing and setup to fit your crowd.
Safety, Products & Skin Health
Q: Are your products safe for skin?
A: Absolutely. I use professional, cosmetic-grade products only—FDA/MOCRA-compliant face paints, cosmetic-grade glitter, skin-safe, latex-free adhesives, and natural henna with no PPD. Brushes are cleaned between each person, one sponge per person, and all materials are thoroughly sanitized between uses.
Q: Can you accommodate sensitive skin or allergies?
A: Yes. I offer patch tests and all my paints are fragrance-free. Please inform me about any allergies ahead of time, and I’ll tailor the materials accordingly.
Q: Is glitter safe?
A: I use cosmetic-grade glitter designed for use on skin (not craft glitter). It’s comfortable to wear, easy to remove, and won’t scratch sensitive eyes!
Booking, Pricing & Payments
Q: How do I book?
A: Email leah@leahcatsfacepaint.com with your date, location, guest count/age range, and timeframe. I’ll recommend the best package for coverage and flow.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. A 50% booking fee secures your date; the remaining balance is due 10 days before the event. I’ll send a digital contract and invoice.
Q: Do you offer nonprofit or weekday rates?
A: Yes! I work with schools, nonprofits, and small businesses often. I can also suggest sponsor-supported options when budgets are tight.
Event Logistics
Q: What do you need from the venue?
A: A flat, shaded/indoor spot (or I can bring a tent), roughly 8’×8’ for parties or 10’×10’ for festivals. Access to one outlet is helpful for lighting in dim spaces, but not required. I bring chairs, tables, and all equipment. You don’t have to worry about a thing!
Q: How early do you arrive?
A: I arrive 20–30 minutes prior (depending on setup) so we’re ready right at your start time.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes—based in Little Rock and serving Central Arkansas and beyond. Travel fees may apply if located outside a 1-hour area around Little Rock.
Capacity & Timing
Q: How many guests can you serve?
A: I tailor design menus and staffing to your timeline and needs. For large groups or short windows, I offer a premium service called “speed painting” to keep the line moving while still delivering beautiful results.
Q: Can everyone get painted or glittered?
A: That’s the goal! Tell me your guest count and timeframe, and I’ll recommend the package that ensures great coverage and happy lines.
Aftercare & Removal
Q: How do we remove face paint?
A: Wash with mild soap and water or a gentle makeup remover. Avoid scrubbing with baby wipes on sensitive skin.
Q: How long do glitter tattoos last?
A: Typically 2–4 days depending on skin type, design, placement, and care. Avoid oils and heavy lotions. To remove, loosen with baby oil or rubbing alcohol and wipe away gently.
Q: How do I care for body gems and horns?
A: They’re applied with a latex-free, skin-safe adhesive. Wear comfortably, avoid tugging, and remove with oil or warm soapy water. If any residue remains, you can also use an alcohol swab.
Policies
Q: What’s your cancellation/reschedule policy?
A: Booking fees are non-refundable but transferable with adequate notice. If weather or emergencies arise, I’ll work with you to reschedule at no penalty where possible.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Outdoor events need shade/cover. I am unable to offer rain dates unless severe weather is predicted. I can provide a tent when arranged in advance. If severe weather is forecast, we’ll confirm a new plan or reschedule.
Q: Do you carry insurance and provide a COI?
A: Yes, I’m fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance to venues on request.
Q: Do you offer exclusivity for events?
A: Yes—ask about exclusivity terms if you prefer to be the only event in your area/timeframe with my services.
Accessibility & Inclusion
Q: Are you ASL-friendly and sensory-aware?
A: Yes. I’m studying American Sign Language and offer visual menus, step-by-step communication, and sensory-friendly options. Everyone is welcome at my chair.
Q: Are you able to paint neurodivergent/autistic/special needs?
A: Yes! I’m a disabled, neurodivergent artist with 20+ years of experience, and I love creating calm, sensory-aware experiences. I offer visual menus, step-by-step communication, shorter/no eye-touching options, and breaks as needed. Consent comes first—guests can choose designs, placement, or skip any step. If there are specific supports that help, just let me know ahead of time, and I’ll tailor the setup.
Photos & Media
Q: Can we take photos and tag you?
A: Please do! Tag Leah Cat’s Face Painting. For marketing photos on my end, I always ask permission first—especially for minors.

Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
A: Yes! They’re perfect for birthdays, holidays, teacher gifts, or company perks. Email leah@leahcatsfacepaint.com to purchase.
Q: Do you do fundraisers?
A: Yes! Please email leah@leahcatsfacepaint.com to discuss the various ways we can collaborate to raise funds for your special cause.
